Sparco continue to develop new fabrics and stitching to improve the fire rating, breathability softness and comfort of their products. The premier range developed with the feedback of Formula 1 and WRC drivers is the Carmyth range. While carrying the FIA2000 rating the Carmyth product actually exceeds the standard FIA rules although the specific weight of the fabric is lower compared to other compliant fabrics. The fabric is treated with X-Cool that consists of microcapsules in which an active ingredient is essence of menthol. This contributes to a lowering of the driver’s body temperature, moving the hot air molecules in contact with the skin towards the outside. |
